1. Everyone says it is, but the United States is NOT much of a beer-drinking country. Budweiser, Miller and other rice brews are NOT beer. They resemble beer, but they’re not any kind of beer. And if you point out to a waiter in the common restaurant that the draft (actual) beer you just ordered taste like it’s gone bad, you can pretty much guarantee a confused look, like if you claim the water is not enough like jell-o.

2. Elton John is ridiculously overrated. He and his song-writing cohort Whoever-the-fuck suck completely and are absolutely lacking in redeeming characteristics. In a perfect world, they’d both be working as janitors.

Three more months of listening to the rattling robotic voice of Hillary Clinton sucking all the life and charm out of ever room she enters? Three more months of her mocking her opponent for his ability to inspire and lead? Three more months of the news media being delighted by the endless campaigning, framing it all as combat or a sports competition (see CNN’s ‘Ballot Bowl’)?
